European Primal Warranty

Primal rods have a two-year warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty covers manufacturing- or material defects only. To claim warranty on a Primal rod, a valid dated receipt must be presented.


The warranty does not cover loss or theft, loss or damage caused by transportation such as airlines, UPS, FedEx or other couriers, intentional damage, or damage from neglect, normal wear and tear issues. Furthermore, cosmetic issues will not be covered by warranty (such as scratched blanks, scratched reel seats, worn grips, worn ferrules etc.)


In case of a warranty claim, please return the rod to the dealer where it was purchased together with a valid sales receipt. The dealer will assess the damage and confer with Flyfish Europe. If warranty is approved the dealer will order a new section for the rod (whenever possible) or replace the rod (if necessary).


In the event of breakage of a non-warranty rod due to bad luck or any other un-repairable problem, Flyfish Europe will offer a replacement or an upgrade. This offer is valid for 5 years from the purchase date. The Primal rod will then be replaced by the most similar current model at a replacement/ upgrade charge.


If the rod model is discontinued and out of stock an upgrade to an equal model from a newer/ existing series will be offered for the same replacement/ upgrade charge.
